Most iron on labels are delivered with siliconised paper which protects the ink on the label from direct high heat from the iron. When ironing on name tags the iron needs to be on the highest heat possible to ensure the label sticks to the material. Don't use steam when applying because the water from the steam it will weaken the glue.
