Leather elbow patches have pre-punched stitch holes to make hand sewing easier and neater. When using an ordinary sewing needle & thread, simply follow the holes & also use a running stitch to tack the patch to the fabric. Always use a good quality thread, cheap thread doesn't last as long as good quality thread would. Leather & fabric stretch at different rates so it is important to use a thread that will hold everything together properly. Elbow patches which are made from gorgeous soft leather; ready to sew onto your clothing to protect and repair.
